USS Constitution - Preparing the Spar Deck

For the spar deck I followed the same procedure as for the gun deck: gluing all the three parts together, making sure to have proper alignment on the upper side of the deck.

Several coats of paint were required, as the beige color doesn't cover very well the color of the plastic.

After painting the base color, having the paint completely dried, I continued to paint the details.

Again, two layers of paint were required to ensure a proper coverage.
